Don't Diminish Your Value

Have you ever diminished your value? What can you do to change that? Don't stop there!   When something good happens to you, something that matters. Don't forget to be thankful. Don't let your dream be stolen by discouragement. Have you ever given up because of discouragement? Are about to let your dream be stolen from you? What would you do to stop that? Write about it in your journal. If you want to, doodle at the bottom of the page things that will keep you encouraged. Don't put stock on anything your fears tell you. Fear is a lying thing! How do you respond to fear? Do you let it take over and control you? Do you let it do things that paralyze your progress? Write about it in your journal. At the bottom of the page, doodle about it also.   When the time is right for action, don't wait. Take the leap, don't sit it out! What would you do to make that happen? Write about it in your journal. Doodle about it on the bottom and sides of the page.

Do you journal? It is a wonderful way to break through an inspiration wall, to process through your artwork or writing experience, and kind of keep a diary of everything. journaling can take many forms and do many things for you and for your work.

This little exercise can give you a taste for journaling. 
Thinking about either your artwork or your writing, and taking a prompt from the quote above,
write about the following:

Who are you inside?
What do you want to achieve?
What value do you assign to yourself and to what you do?
How does your work is influenced by what you know?
What is your unique perspective?

  Are you eager for this year to end and to put it behind you? As you move forward, remember the lessons learned, the steps taken, everything that has moved you towards your goals, and smile, looking forward to the future. Happy New Year! Take your journal, look at the year and write about your plans for the future. Additional Thoughts: Always remember that you will have to live with the choices you make. Pick up your journal and write about your choices, the good and the bad, and about the lessons you have learned throughout. The New Year can take you anywhere, but stay focused on your goals and dreams and stay present and involved in life!

Don't Let Your Dream Be Paralyzed

  Be grateful for all the things you've learned and the ones you will learn. Don't let a combination of panic and worry paralyze your dream and cause you to give up! You know you are an original, not a copy of anyone, so act like it! Stop panicking and start planning. Don't run from opportunities, run towards them. Before risking, take a closer look at where your leap will land you. Will you land on your feet or on your face? Don't rush your decisions. Think strategically and act calmly in regards to your goals. Choose your dream, your hope, your goal, and don't be afraid of where your forward steps take you.
