Don't Diminish Your Value

Have you ever diminished your value? What can you do to change that? Don't stop there!   When something good happens to you, something that matters. Don't forget to be thankful. Don't let your dream be stolen by discouragement. Have you ever given up because of discouragement? Are about to let your dream be stolen from you? What would you do to stop that? Write about it in your journal. If you want to, doodle at the bottom of the page things that will keep you encouraged. Don't put stock on anything your fears tell you. Fear is a lying thing! How do you respond to fear? Do you let it take over and control you? Do you let it do things that paralyze your progress? Write about it in your journal. At the bottom of the page, doodle about it also.   When the time is right for action, don't wait. Take the leap, don't sit it out! What would you do to make that happen? Write about it in your journal. Doodle about it on the bottom and sides of the page.  

Is Your Journey of Growth an Adventure?


Ask yourself, am I growing or am I paralyzed by fear or doubts and uncertainty?
Since journaling is one of the best ways to explore one's inner self and reflect on important life topics,
and since it is a great writing exercise. How often do you journal?
When you do, is it enjoyable or do you consider it one more writing chore?
Is it an empty exercise?
Writing prompts can help us discover aspects of our lives that we may or may not have thought about before. We can discover aspects and areas of our lives that have been hidden to even our thoughts and emotions.
Following are 10 journaling prompts based on my quote: "Look at growth as an adventure, a journey forward". Ponder them and write your response to all or to some of them:

1. What does "growth" mean to you?

2. How do I feel when I think about growth, mine or my career's?

3. What opportunities for growth have I taken in my life so far?  Am I scared to take chances?

4. What is my definition of an "adventure"?

 Do you see it as a risk?
5. How can I create more adventures in my life?  Write down something imaginative, even if it's a little crazy.

6. How do I feel about embarking on a journey forward?

 Do I feel excited or scared and reluctant?
7. What steps can I take to move forward in my life today?

8. What are some fears or obstacles that stand between me and growth?

9. How can I turn these fears into opportunities for growth and as an impetus to move forward?
10. What can possibly be holding me back?

List 5 things you wished you had done differently so far.
List 5 choices you wish you had made.
List 5 things you want to do in the not-too-distant future.
List 5 things you're excited about right now.
